over flying it ??

Got my CX2 going again and love it, but I was out in the yard on a calm day and doing large circles, like 40 feet around, and it would just nose down and go into the ground. none of the controls seem to have any effect once its starts going that way. I dont get any blade slap or any of that with all the mods. but every time I start getting to fast with it, it seems to go very unstable.. Im I just over flying it..
this is my first helicopter so not sure, I did just get my new Honey bee fp so I can start learning on it .

Re: over flying it ??

well dont stop flying!!! things to look at

*servo may get jamed up( i noticed on mine one side would stick and down she went)
*over control (some times i get going so fast i for get what the heli is doing and down she goes) keep it smooth and slow.
lets see does it stay up for a long time or does it go up then rght back down??

Re: over flying it ??

It seems to fly OK until I get aggressive, when I fly slow and easy its OK, things start going bad if I start going faster. Mainly if IM doing a banked turn then it just seems to speed up and head into the ground ????

The CX2 is designed for indoor flying and outdoors if the conditions are calm enough...I would think its range and its capability is limited though....I doubt a FP type heli is going to cope well with fast flight....maybe a Trex would do the trick.

indoor heli for sure. outdoor? calm? i would say 75 degrees and NO wind period! i have flown mine outdoors under these conditions and found the range to be more than enough for a heli this small. at some point ya just cant see it! as far as recovering and aggressive flying, this is where i would say chill out a bit. being a coaxial ship the upper blade tracks freely if you push the heli too fast the upper blade set will blow back tilting the ship back. with a transmitter and servo set such as eflight provides its probably not gonna be a Ferrari. try taking it easy for a bit.
