Heading Lock Gyro's CX2

I see a heading lock gyro is available but pretty costly. Has anyone used it or can say yeh or nay? A beginner here so not sure of it for $85.
Thanks......... shivering in OHio.

Re: Heading Lock Gyro's CX2

The heading lock gyro isn't really a good idea on the CX2.

The helicopter won't benefit much from the gyro. There is already
a gyro in the 4 in 1 that's on there.

The CX helis usually drift a bit as the pack wears down and you
just adjust the rudder trim to fix that. Save your money for the
next heli that you get.
