mine did the same thing, the guy at the HS said he has heard bad things about the stock batteries, told me to up grade. sold me a Flightpower 800mAh 7.4v 2s did seem to help but I did not get much time on it as I brook my last blade and will be waiting for the mail man again.

Re: My CX2 only last 5 min on batteries?

the cx doesn't have any type of indicator to let ya know when to stop flying. your not supposed to run these batts below like 3 volts. unfortunately the only way to know when the batts are low is when the ship slows down. i think it may be too late at this point. all of my batts lose performance after maybe a dozen flights. they still work but not as long. and the e-flite pack has almost crap for power any more.

My stock E-flite battery died after 6 flights. Don't overdischarge any of these Lipo batteries. Once your craft starts to loose power, land, cool down, and recharge. I won two aftermarket Tenergy batteries from ebay. I now I enjoy longer flight times.

Re: My CX2 only last 5 min on batteries?

I bought 5 "Tenergy" 7.4 900mAh, and I time the use to 10 minutes. This seems to prevent overdischarge, and I cool batts and heli between each use. I get a solid, high power 10 minutes.

Nothing but good long flights with my DN power batteries have six and all perform great with about 30 flights each so far.Lipos are funny and have a low tolerance for overcharging and overdischarging.Try another battery maybe your LHS will let you try one that they have for testing and repairs.
