Any way to increase forward 'thrust' on CX?

Hi. I'm sure this has happened to anyone trying to fly a CX outdoors. It seems if there is any wind at all, I cannot get the CX to go forward into the wind. Even with the right stick all the way up, it just doesn't have the power to go into (a slight) wind.

Is there an adjustment that would add more forward thrust? I didn't want ot start messing with things and make them worse.

Thanks...

The CX is just not designed to fly in any wind...period.

Try flying through a doorway with a slight draught....the heli will fight like mad to get through....its just not powerful enough.

There actually is a way, take a look at your servos, move the linkages out one or two holes. This will make the whole thing more sensative. Be warned though, bladestrikes will occur much more often with this adjustment.

Try adding a little bit of extra weight at the nose of the heli. extra weight will mean that the heli will need more head speed to lift and will reduce the flight time. the heli will also always want to go forward so you'll need to pull back when airbourne to hold it level.
The best tip I can give you is, If you are ready for flying outdoors then get a heli suitable for just that. I know it is easier said that done but it really is the best solution.
