| Transmitter problems Have any of you experienced any tx problems with your Blade CP? I have two of them and one flies great the other one has problems with the tx. Whenever you hold the TX with both hands the helicopter goes nuts. Hold it with one hand and its fine, both hands again and it goes nuts. Thats even with the trottle stick and throttle trim set to 0. It messed up my heli the first time I took it out the box and went to fly it. I called Horizon hobby about it and they said ship it to them so I did a few days ago. Tech at Horizon says sometimes the electronics acts weird, as in my case. I think its something grounded wrong in the transmitter myself, could be wrong. Any others experienced this? This second one was bought for my nephew thank god I decided to test it before giving it to him. Mine still flies great just needed to work on the T/R trim. |

| Re: Transmitter problems Did you happen to have a cell phone clipped to your belt? I've heard of a potential problem with cell phones and radios. Cell phone generally work @ 900 meghtz, our transmitter is at 72 mhtz. However, if the cell is rcving a text or voice message alert, the cell can swamp the surrounding area with RF and cause havok with R/C equipment. A simple case of ground differential could have been your problem as well. An example of this would be what happens if you touch the antenna of the Txer while it's on, you get interferance or little glitches. The radio you had may have had a bad filter or possibly a bad crystal, making it more susseptible to RF interferance. |
