Hey Catfight, thanks for the link to the other forum. Lots more users and info there. I have a hop-up for the tail boom for you. Do you know any one that in into archery? I took one of my Easton axis arrow shafts that I had broken the tip off. Cut it to the length of the boom, removed the boom ( little tricky with the wires for the tail motor) and slid the arrow shaft right over the tail boom, it fits perfect. Makes the tail boom look alot thicker and there is no way the rotor blades will ever break the boom off now. Also made myself so longer skids like you have, I used another carbon arrow, ( thicker and Camo

) for the skids. Thanks again for your help. Check at an archery shop if you don't know anyone who is an archer. The arrow shaft that I had that fit perfect was a Easton Axis 340.
