Val.Hi.. I dont know for sure how many other people do this, but I spend as much time customizing the looks and performance of my heli as I do flying it.It would be great to have a place specific for this "modeling" activity,and most of the modeling techniques(materials,tech. stuff etc.) would apply to any brand of heli.I have been to alot of forums and there are threads everywhere of guys sharing their projects but they are almost impossible to find on purpose,I know there is a great deal of interest in the modeling aspect of the hobby if someone could organize it one specific place.

Newbie here,
I'm about to purchase my 2nd Heli. I have a LMH 100, and never really got past bouncing on the ground. I'm looking to purchase a RTF in the $200 to $300 range and move up from there as I learn.
What I have found is the Blade CP, and the Heli MAX Axe CP, and the aplus.
Can you start a thread for "newbie heli purchase suggestions"?

I would like to see a Scale heli section, or maybe a scratch built/scale section. I know we have a modification section, but mods are so general.

Lardfly has built up a couple nice balsa bodys and I am working on a darth's 500d "kit" and a scratch built bell 212 balsa shell.
