E-Flite blade shake

I'm new to this hobby and just got a e-flite blade cp. just after I got it I crashed it and went to the hobby shop were they told me I would need new blades, and a new main shaft. I made the repairs and reajusted the blade pitch so they are tracking inline with each other. My problem it that the heli is shaking. When I get the blades up to speed right before it lifts off the body and every thing shakes extremly bad.

Re: E-Flite blade shake

are your tail rotors aligned? are your paddles bent? are your paddles at the same legnth? are your paddles at the same pitch? are your blades even and balanced? are you absoultly positive that your main blades are at equal pitches? are you sure you put the new shaft in instead of mistaking the old for the new? hope that helps

The cheat

maybe just maybe you could have a busted/loose connector that once the heli starts pulling it jiggles causing problems.

Re: E-Flite blade shake

How bad a crash did you have? The Blade CP is set from the factory to have 0 pitch at zero throttle. Check the level of the top fly bar with the bottom of the blade along with the tail boom. They should all be level. Also...I had vibration from not having my blades tightened enuff. Hope that helps.

Re: E-Flite blade shake

I just wanted to say that after upgrading my Blade Cp with the Li-po pack and new aerobatic kit I have found this helicopter to be alot more stable. longer lasting flight times are a real plus.I still use the standard blades because I am not good enough for inverted flight and they seem to run real smooth. Another thing that i have found with this heli is any type of wind will knock you off course when trying to hover. I recently bought extra parts for the e-flite at a local hobby shop and the owner said this is one of the best sellers in his store right now.It is really nice to have this forum to share Ideas.I was getting blade shake also from nicks and dings in the blade so I took an aerobatic blade that has rounded corners and traced them on top of my dinged blades. I then belt sanded the radius into the two blades together and they are now working fine.
This is a really fun helicopter
