Talking Re: What is phasing

Hey rob check this out, 3 tanks of gas and was thinking i was getting gooood, For the last 5 days 25 mph winds with 35 mph gust, was still hovering every day(just hovering) Those gust will get you everytime! Today saturday cloudy 50 deg and 1 mph winds no gust, Was feeling it so gassed up (frances) thats her name, and off we went. Man sure is nice when the wind is not the one trying to take you out. Back and forth football field length and im on the 50 yard line, ff flight with stall turns and back at ya again, burnt up 3 tanks and was just hovering and spun around about 2 feet off the ground when i got a brain fart and nose in on her side, was no time to react except throttle down, Another set of NHP carbon blades in the grass. Dugg a nice grave but lucky not to damage any thing else (was a soft crrrash) Was back in the air in 30 min with those trusty old woodies and you no what, flew 2 more tanks with out a hitch. I think the woodies give you a sack or something, the carbon fiber blades make you so nervous you cant help but cultivate the ground with them. Will give the hawk a full ringing out sunday.

Re: What is phasing

Good for you,

Theres nothing like getting 'air time' no use talking about it....get out and fly...your confidence will go up and you get more familiar with the bird (Frances...I like that)

Broke my Trex last night....went to do a loop...glitch went the radio...again...headspeed decayed badly...down came heli and crunch....walked over slowly...damage wasnt so bad. Broken skids and fin and a bent main shaft...and a broken blade grip.

Fixed it up in no time...awaiting test tracking of blades

Good idea in keeping plenty of spare parts

Rob
