Hi, was flying this morning at a local ball park and once in a while I get a little hit with interference. Today it happened precisly when a train was passing through. The tracks are located about 1000 feet away, behind a subdivision. I don't have the PCM rec and am happy with how few hits I do get. I never get hits while flying an airplane there either. If there is anything that raises the stress level in helicopter flying it's unprovoked twitching on the copter's part. Land immediately and try again with extra caution. Jim

Re: **Radio Interference** I have a Hawk Pro with a Futaba receiver and the Hitec Optic 6 control. I have that same problem. I get little glitches in the heli while flying, I'm not sure if it is the engine cutting out or something in the electronic messing up. I was pondering the idea that maybe I have a bad servo and it is causing a malfunction somewhere. But then I read on one website they where having glitches witht he optic 6. If you find anything out please post it.

Re: **Radio Interference** Hi I found some info on the Hitec Optra. Here is a link for the forum that discusses programming problems but more importantly is stated that Optra and Futaba don't mix very well. http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_34...tm.htm#3576285 (**From String**) WOW just an update !!! Hitec has shown really poor form here helping our local flying buddy out on this.... To make a mends for his finding of a major software bug that caused his over 500 doallar investment to be lost they gave him Thier bottom of the line flight pack and an extra supreme reciever. Like 130 bucks retail of stuff for a 550 dollar + loss To add injury to insult They returned his original equipment repaired instead of giving him new replacements. WOW that is really really poor form... I guess I would exspect it from them from my past dealing I had the original digital servos 5945 and found they had a software issue with Futaba radios with thigh ATVs Lost a 1200.00 helicopter over the deal They update the software in my servos and returned them. WOW The warning is still on thier site to date at least they are warning people In my buddies case no warning nothing he found somthing they admitted they had not seen or could not duplicate till they got his unit back. Very poor form is all I can say. ![]()
