**It can happen when you least expect it!** Got bad news... went flying this morning, got 1 full flight in. I finished doing the flying and came in and settled on the ground with the engine still running... desided to tweek the gyro a little and took my eyes off the copter for a second.... as I did the stupid thing tipped over. Crash kit needed and the plastic rotor head body is spun on the aluminum. Not sure what I did as I never moved any of the sticks! I guess I'm grounded form heli's for a while. (trugges back to the hanger and pull open the doors to the old old very old biplane) I hate this plane! I'm lucky it wasn't worse. The servo's don't need gear kits at least and the drive shaft is straight! Yippee!!! I was worried cause it's more than the crash kit. Jim

Re: **It can happen when you least expect it!** next time you tweak....shut down first.....I learnt the hard way too. I had changed my gyro mode after messing with a simulator.....put it on normal mode when it should have been 'GY' as the gyro is heading hold (CSM 200) only....it was flying with the gyro fitted but not registering......once you get into this state then the heli becomes very hard to handle.....and ends up on its side ...something to do with gyroscopic precession and all that. Good luck....but remember to shut that engine off in future.....sounds good in hindsight eh!!! ![]() we live and learn my friend Rob

Re: **It can happen when you least expect it!** I priced out parts from http://heli-world.com/ (which is where Century Helicopter web sends you for parts) If it wasn't for the rotor head I would have been able to order form Tower Hobbies. The total cost for repairs is $87.59 Canadian. Just took my eyes off it for a second! ![]()
