Re: motor seized

Sorry for being so long since last reply, been extremely bysy flying (heli and realtime). Sorry to hear about the engine. Well, my mixture/ pitch problem is something of the past! Turned out to be the pitch servo that couldn't hold the pressure!! Noticed it whilst pre-flighting, coult quite easily adjusted the pitch of the main blades with two fingers, and the servo didn't give any opposition to the inputs, simply went with.

Well that explained the poot climb. Seen a picture of the CCPM conversion on the net, and converted mine to 120 deg CCPM myself... was a breeze and wokrs like a bomb!!! Much better responce in both cyclic and pitch. Enginge (ASP 36) purrs liuke a kitten. As far as the Heli goes, I cant complain, but need to upgrade... Ordered mainshaft trhust bearing, carbon blades (one of these days I'm gonna push the std ones too far and i'll be sorry), lihgter paddles etc.

Now another problem! Century doesn't seem to want my business!!!! Posted the order via the Net almost 2 weeks ago, followed it up a couple of times via E-Mail, still not a word! What do you think one can do. The South African "suppliers", Southern Hobbies apparently has the same problem with Century Company. I just wonder, what if I need a crash kit or maybe a worn part in future, how long am I gonna be GROUNDED???

Any help pls.

PS: Good luck with your warranty claim, hope you have better luck. Later

Frikkie

Re: motor seized

Hi, Crash kits can be ordered through Tower Hobbies... $49.99 USD
Try HelicopterWorld.com for all the Centure parts. I never delt directly with Century but give them a try.
