Re: hawk pro

If its the same as the Hawk Sport....then most of the building is done....but the instructions are not the best!!! it helps if you have had previous experience with another heli model...because the instructions are better.

What bits are you having a problem with? most of it is quite obvious....but the nuts and bolts dont appear to have any particular use...so I do understand where you are coming from.

Re: hawk pro

I built one it was my first heli that I built and it was pretty easy was suprised when I opened it and head and most was all put together. Instructions kind of **** but I figured it out and wasn't all that hard I guess my step dad helped me and we put it together. I love my hawk pro and would fly it any day over my blade cp .

Re: hawk pro

They are a great heli....I know what you are saying about the instructions...other kits have plastic bags with all the components for each stage of building....plus the bolt/screw sizes as well so you know where they go.

The Hawk is ok to build if you have patience....it will pay to check the rotor head and the tail rotor hub....some items are not always tightened properly.

I noticed one fault with my Hawk...looking at the tail rotor one day one of the blades was a bit wiggly...sideways wiggly....closer inspection required taking the tail rotor blade grips apart and tightening the nuts that hold the bearings/blade grips in place.

Always check your heli over...before or after flying...never take things for granted....the checks dont take long.

Sorry to but in ....

Now back to the tread...

I bought a Hawk second hand and ripped it to peices then rebulit it without the instruction..well mostly. They are bad. Let us know where you are having problems and we'll try to sort you out...
