Question **6V 2200 NMh **

Hi, got a question for you all. Friend of mine picked up 3 McNair 2200 mah 6 volt batteries from E-bay. I have one of them and spoke to our heli rep and he said they are no good for running with helicopters and digital servo's.
Can any of you verify that? Or do they work fine?
Friend has an airplane with 6 servo's (some digital)
The Raven has S9202 servo's.
Any information will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Jim

Hey,
You could prolly use it to operate just the receiver/esc etc, but it seems to me it's too little voltage for the motor or too much weight for the heli.

Ohm I am thinking he is talking about a gas heli so not need to run motor on it. Am I right? Also I am not sure about your question I have seen on site's were they say 6.0v gives your server more torgue and speed but I am not sure wondering same myself.

Exclamation Re: **6V 2200 NMh **

Happy New year all, I did some digging and the 9254 rudder servo is prohibited form 6v. Futaba states in the info section not to use it.
Just finished a new camera mount with panning. The video camera sould be in tomorrow.

The heli is still waiting to have to parts ordered but it is still winter here and is cold and rainy.

Thumbs down Re: **6V 2200 NMh **

About the battery post I thought I made it in the Nitro Helicopter section. I fly the Century Raven with an OS 46.
A friend of mine bought some Ni-Mh 2200 mAh packs and he traded me for a carb. I let another friend the packs to cycle and see if they were any good. They cycled... the best being 1450 and the worst being 1310. No Ni-Mh for this kid.
