Red face Broken Hawk

I broke my poor faithful Hawk the other day....was doing inverted stuff...pulled out and she dropped like a stone....reckon the engine quit for some reason

I was convinced the Hawk was written off.....It nosedived so fast....I was still moving the sticks...hoping to pull out....and it must have worked...I lost view of the heli behind some ground.

I trudged over..... ...VERY slowly making up a shopping list in my mind....1x hawk etc etc

Suprise suprise she was sat upright, blades still intact....bent feathering shaft, the boom had been sheared off at the main frames ....looks like she landed on her tail .....

I am absolutely amazed, it could have been so bad...so very very bad...but for a few quid she will fly again....I was convinced I was going to need a spade...to recover my bird...salvage some bits...then bury the remains.

This will not put me off, I have been flying a year now and have had 3 crashes....one so serious (nexus) that it got scrapped......I have flown planks for some time now....and can honestly say that my heli record is better...in terms of crashes and damage and expense.

Want value for money?? get a Hawk....get a Hawk Pro....you can still get the sport version Like I have...the pro has all the upgrades...thats the difference.

At the moment I dont have much cash for Hawk parts.....so I am eying up my nice new unflown Sceadu Evo 30.
I just dont know if Sceadus are expensive to fix??

Any Hawk tales for me??

Rob
