T-Rex 450 SE (V1 or V2)?

I ordered the T-Rex 450SE from http://www.helidirect.com. It didn't state wether it was a V2 or V1. They have 2 colors, silver and black. The silver one showed blue gears in the picture and the black one showed the white gears. The black one showed the gold capped motor and the silver one shows the silver capped motor. Both were the same price ($529.99). I hope I got the V2 model. I found a Futaba TCAP/CHP 7 channel radio new in box with 4 3001 servos for $190.00 on eBay. I thought that was a good deal. My LHS sells them for $250. I'm upgrading from a Walkera 36 and a Futaba T6EXHP. Now lets see if those "Finless" Bob videos payed off.

Re: T-Rex 450 SE (V1 or V2)?

you'll know when you get it. since you mentioned the motor endbells and gear color, i think you already know how to tell a V1 from a V2. but, the V1 is really a fine helicopter. you just need to make a few mods before your first flight to reduce the chance of problems™ in the air.

you should shop around a little more though. Align T-rex 450 and upgrades like the G4 Frame are this place's specialty. They have base 450s, too. But, the G4 is an amazing upgrade and, it's the same price as the regular trex. It flips and rolls like no other trex you've ever flown. I bought one G4 and am thinking about another.

good luck.

It better for you buy the T-rex v2 from http://www.ehirobo.com
This site is cheaper than other site. It only cost USD419 to 449 for the T-trex than USD549 from other site
