Need some help please!! On Futaba receiver's

I just got in my new Futaba 7C and it came with this receiver.!!!
Futaba Dual Conversion FP-R138DP with 8 channel's PCM 1024...

Is this a good receiver to use with a 450 Trex XL (CDE) CCPM.???
Or should I get a Futaba R146 ip PCM ????Or what one????
They say,,, I can have ether one I want...
What would you do ??
And why???
Is the R146 smaller ? How much does it weigh ?
This receiver weigh's 41.5 g or 1.46 oz.
They tell me,,, the FP-R138DP has a lot more flight range and only weigh's about 6g more then the R146 ????
Could some one weigh there's and let me know how much it weighs .
Please help me ...
Thanks.

Say guys,,, I just tried the R138DP and it won't fit in the frame .
I take it back,, It will fit but,, I will be very tight!!!!
I wanted to mount it below the tail boom... If I use it,, ..
And I have found out,,, it weigh's 41.4g's
and the R146ip only weigh's 16.5g's !!!

you can lighten it by taking it out of the plastic case and put shrink wrap on it instead. thats what i do with mine sometimes. it will make it a little smaller in size also. i dont think you will get it down to 16g. but you might get it down 1/3 in weight maybe more
thats a really nice reciever you will probably never have any problems with reception

A few grams up or down make no deference on the t-rex unless you are going to fly in a contest and you are a pro pilot
