Crash and GWS servos

Yesterday it was fine weather slide breeze so I took my t-rex and out to my backyard about 800 sq meters with a big wall all around perfect day to test my new SAB carbon blades. Rev up measure the speed 2600 RPM perfect fast forward some figure 8s back to hover a stall turn oh I love these blades ready for a right roll a little left stick to move the beat left to have room for right roll it keeps going left full right stick no response throttle a bit down still going left full right stick nothing flip the switch motor off, autorotation landing but still going left OH!!! The wall the wall. There they go my new carbon blades and the one way bearing makes some strange noise. Crash investigation shows that the aileron servo is dead gone it just quit on me like that no worning at all. It’s the 3rd GWS servo that gives up on me the other 2 had broken gears for no reason now I’m switching to hitech.

i went with tower pro same servos only tower pro is the standered 9g
instead of the 8.4g u get with those "iffy" servos noone knows about
also!
dynam? is this a new company comming out
im seeing them everywhere and noone knows about them
they are dirt cheap? 35a esc with governer mode and bec for like 28 bucks...cheaper then align and they have dirt cheap batteries i think.
u have trexs ,mabey u can answer my question

first off which blade is better and why
then will the fit walkera 36 without tail boom strikes.. i wont use them for no hard 3d.. just more stable hovers?
tell me which u think will fit and not strike boom, cause i know they both flex differntly..

Re: Crash and GWS servos

I would say go for the carbon pro blades they have almost 0 flex wood blades flex more but you said ,stable flight, so i sugest plastic from my expirience with t-rexes with plastic blades you have a slow response which means in my opinion more stable and a few miliseconds to think for a newbe wood blades faster more responsive and with carbon blades at least with the SAB that i tested it flys like hell you just touch the stick and there it goes but you have to be also also very fast in your inputs.

Re: Crash and GWS servos

Update on my crash
The belt drive gear just came off and lost so it's off to the lhs for a new one on monday the noise i mension it was not from the main gear but from the belt touching the shaft now that the gear is lost and the weather is perfect thats the advantage to have more than one bird
