| Re: Set up Hi, Reducing the pitch Means that when you move the throttle up for take off your rotor head speed will be higher than normal. It is this action that needs to be taken for flying in wind that is quite breezy. If you have a computer radio you should be able to adjust the throttle curve so as to get the same affect. This information is correct. The higher the wind the more rotor head speed you will need. Hope this helps, Darren

| Re: Set up Well could not wait as soon as the rain stoped in really strong wind i took it up for a hole batt not much just hovering but it was really stable loosing very little alt, tnxs for the help. An other question if i'm not taking advantage i mesure the blade rpm I read that it has to be 2200 rpm I have 1820 i'm using align asc 35A and motor 400LF 2800 KV 13 T pinion should i use 15 t to reach 2200 RPM or what i tryed to reduse more the pit but no use on max pit 10 deg and max thr still 1820 rpm tnxs in advance and exuse my English John

| Re: Set up Old Man, I find with my TRex's that a headspeed of at least 2200rpm will make the bird more stable. I am now running 2400 on my CDE. The collective is sensitive around the center point if you setup a linear pitch curve, 0,25,50,75,100 which I do in all modes. Another thing I do to tame things down a little is I put two Dubro 3/32 wheel collars on the flybar out next to the paddles. Reduce your Expo to no more than 10% when doing this. It will still 3D but response is much smoother. Hope this helps, Gary |

| Re: Set up Old Man, You posted while I was typing. On that motor I would use the 15 tooth pinion. If using the Align ESC you are going to need a throttle curve of almost 100% in order to get the proper speed. Non-governor mode I would set mine up like this: Normal Mode: 0,25,65,85,100 - Using a 15 tooth pinion Idle1: 100,90,80,90,100 - Again using the 15 tooth pinion Idle2: Setup the same as Idle1 at there is not much more to be had out of that motor.
