Do plastic battery connectors melt?

I can't disconnect my plastic battery connector from the plastic helicopter power connector thingy. Is it possible that the two plastics melted together?
cause I'm really struggling to get them disconnected. Any help would be appreciated

Anythings possible, but those connectors can really get a grip sometimes. Try using two neddle nose pliers to get them apart.
