Re: Help identifying this helicopter?

Schluter could be the make....not sure of the type.

Looks like a museum piece to me I like the older models...from what I can see they havent evolved that much..ok we have better engines and more crucially...far better electronics.

Re: Help identifying this helicopter?

Schluter was ma popular manufacturer in the early eighties but the T/R is on the wrong side for a Schluter and it has a high mounted flybar. Sort of looks like a Vricket except for the canopy.

The cricket was a 30 size. That might be a Schulter Heli-Boy or Heli-Star.

I had the heli-boy 25 years ago and that looks just like it. and yes it had a 60 in it and flew like a brick.

Re: Help identifying this helicopter?

The book was written by Dieter Schluter, The radio is a JR Apollo 6, Heli looks like A Schluter except the T/R is on the wrong side. Maybe someone built it wrong?
The radio is wide band and no longer legal to use. The heli regardless of maker is primative by todays standards and not a candidate for training. All however are collectors items.
