| What helli to fly Hi I'm just getting into this hobby and have jumped right in with a Blade 400. Knowing that it is going to be a lot of helicopter for a newbie to learn on I went out and bought Realflight G4 and I was wondering what a heli I should use that would best match my heli.  |

| Re: What helli to fly Start with a 'learner' one and get good on it...hovering and keeping the heli in one place is a must....you want total control...helis are hard to fly but you will get there...it takes patience and time. Only when you get good should you go onto the small tricky helis on the sim....chances are the Blade will fly pretty good...but do make sure all screws are nice and tight...and when the heli starts loosing power...LAND the thing and let the battery cool and then recharge.... | Re: What helli to fly I started with the Impala trainer, then the huey and onto the helimax cp (the helimax is the closest thing to my blade cp) I figured it to be a good idea to go into the specs and try to find a machine that matches what I had as close as possible, I found the helimax really squirrelly at first but finally got over it's twitchyness. | Re: What helli to fly Just a suggestion but if there is a Trex on the SIM that should be close to your Heli and will give you a feel for what to expect from it.
