Cellpro 4S lipo charger/balancer

Guys and gals,

I got to tell you about the Cellpro 4S charger for lipo battery packs as it is fantastic for the money. It will charge 2-4 cell packs and having bought one myself and been very impressed with it I thought it only rite to let you know of it.
For those of you the don't yet have a charger then hear is the news you been looking for. You can fly your heli and put your pack straight on charge the cellpro will look after the battery for you and you can even use the pack as soon as the charger has finished with it. If for some reason you should need to go out during a charge no worries just unplug it and then pick up where you left it when you get back.

Don't just take my word for it read what the site that sells the pack says. they even sell you the lead to change youre pack so that you can use your pack with it. I changed my align pack and it was straight forward.

the charger can be found at www.Aurorra.co.uk
I am well chuffed with it. I am sure that you will be. forget those chargers that cost a fortune, or the ones you have to buy a ballancer seperate for.
go on have a look. I can tell you it is a great peice of Kit and runs from the car battery.

Re: Cellpro 4S lipo charger/balancer

dang,
that is pretty sweet, especially for the money. Wish I'd known about it 6 months ago... I like the individual cell voltage readout
Not that I dislike my set-up. Got the Triton Jr. with the Equinox balancer, (for just shy of twice the price.) B*tch was that the balancer output isn't marked as to which wire goes where, so adapting to a particular connector was a trick. The 6 output wires for 4 cells (?) are either black or red, and you can't tell what's being output without it being connected to a battery (i.e the balancer only activates under load). You can't connect a battery without knowing which wires to connect it to, nocan you... Rather a conundrum, but I got it sorted.

If anyone else has the Electrifly set up and wants to know how to modify it for your pack's connectors, I've posted it elswhere on the forum (search Triton), or PM me. Otherwise, for my money, I'd buy the Cellpro.
