3812 rpm/v is similiar to the 3750 of the Hacker C40-8L. The 8L is one of the most popular motors used in the VE. Most people running that on a 3S will use either a 16 or 17 tooth pinion. Use a 16 for duration and a 17 for more aerobatic stuff. With either pinion your headspeed should be above 1700 all the time. You won't really hit the dreaded VE wobble till down around 1500. I set mine up wrong a few weeks back and had a HS of 1600 and it flew decently. I normally run somewhere in the 1800-1900 HS.
