| Re: Voyager E The thing is you need to get a optical tach and set the head speed the Voyager needs to run around 1800 for a good head speed and where I live I have to use a different pinion because of altitude and thin air to get the bird off the ground.I use the astro flight 20 motor made for the voyager E and I modified mine so that I can use larger rotor blades and larger tail rotor blades this gives me better control because of the larger rotor disk.Right now I use Mah 463 rotor blades the stock voyager blade is a 420 I think and soon I am going to try a modification on mine where I will be able to use MAH 500 rotor blades.Look in the picture section you will see my voyager with the 463 blades.I use the 15 tooth pinion but the motor I use allows me to use the stock JR pinions and so it has the correct pitch on the pinion teeth. Also if you need more batteries I would say buy from Maxamp.com they are better batteries than Thunder power and they are cheaper. They also have a higher MAH rating than Thunder Power. |
