I feel that it's better to learn on a coaxial then upgrade to a higher end model later. I don't believe that you have to "re-learn to fly". With a coaxial you will learn orientation, hovering, flight movement, etc. Too many people have quit this hobby because they bought the wrong copter to start with and got frustrated. I did extensive research on forums and talking to hobby shops. I went to all hobby shops within 30 miles of me. Took 6 weeks of research before I bought my CX2. Now, I'm ready for a Blade 400 or a Trex. I'll probably get the 400 because of costs.
Also, repair parts are much cheaper on the coaxials! |
