Hi Tim,
Im no expert either lol.
The first aerobatic thing I did was a nose over tail flip. Get high (at least 50 ft) put it in the hover.. pull the stick back and hold it.. Bit of -ve as it goes over the top and back to +ve as the bird comes back the right way... the reason you keep it high is if you forget to put in the -ve pitch, youve a chance to get it back.
Once youve done it once... it gets easier lol. After the nose over tail.. you can try for a side flip... same thing only keep in the aileron... just make sure you dont touch the rudder as you go over.
I wouldnt start with a moving roll because to get the heli moving fast you need to get the nose down and this makes rolls harder cos you need to remember to get rid of the nose down before you roll or it becomes a VERY scary move. Loops are easier but again getting the speed right can be a bit tricky.
