Stick with it. I've seen a lot of plank flyers with this same complaint. Heli flying requires a completely new set of skills. You'll need to develop a vary soft touch on the sticks in companions to the stick banging your probably use to. The real trick is to anticipate what the heli is going to do and stay one step ahead with vary light control inputs and fly the rotor disk not the body. It just takes time to develop the reflexes keep at it and you'll get it .
