| Re: Main motor keeps burning Rob,
I agree with you. Between the two Helis, the larger one was easy to manage. I crashed because one of the links was cracked and I didn't realize it. It broke in flight and try as I may, I couldn't get proper response from the radio. May I also add that I neglected to turn down the throttle and damaged the main gear set. If it was the Eagle 50, the motor would've burnt.
I also agree with you about the experience. That's why I tried to start with the small one, so that repairs would be less costly. It don't seem to work that way, because I'll crash 10 times with the smaller one against once with the larger.
I have an E sky flight simulator, but I don't use it again, because the controls are contrary to what's on the real radio. I'm afraid that I might learn the right way on the wrong controls, then when I go out to fly, I'll be confused. I also get disoriented when all I see is sky on the monitor.
My intention is to get a much larger Heli, not excluding the Nitro, as soon as I gain some confidence.
I can get parts for the E sky belt CP, although when I check, some of the parts are "sold out"
I want to up grade the belt CP with those machined aluminum parts after I sort out the Eagle 50.
