| Re: Lithium Polymer cells. Whats the big deal? i've been running poly-lipo since 2005 and have lost a few packs but they have always performed awsome. It is a Must that they are kept in a cool dry place, i keep them in an aluminum briefcase with the insides covered with thick rubber linening. if you run Lipo you MUST NOT run brushed motor they burn way to many amps. a brushless motor will make your battery last it's full life cycle. it is important to cycle your battery( don't charge battery then wait 30 days to cycle. 3 months left fully charged and its spent. cycle battery everyday and it will last years.
Also it is important VERY to buy a Name Brand battery (thunder power,Etec,Kokam..Ect.) they last and have been tested. Cheap china versions usually are Crap.
Also Very important U buy a good charger a cheap charger will be the first to kill your new packs.
the life of a lipoly battery today is from 200 to 500+ charges
