Re: Help with dragonfly 36 7 channel transmitter PLEASE!

Good Grief - do you relize the blade tips are doing 200 MPH

First put on a set of training gear - the tipping was caused by ground effect with the clockwise motion of the main blade and counter clockwise movement of the tail rotor the heli tries to drift left - that is normal - if you are not putting in some right cyclic stick to compensate then it will tip left - if you had training gear on then it will slide left.

When you throttle (slowly) up to 50% watch the rotor disk you will see it starting to lean left apply a small amount of right on the cyclic stick until it becomes horizontal once more then apply just a small amount of throttle so it becomes very light on the skids and starts to lift - try to hold it there and not allow it to drift.

Once you can do that then move it around like an hover craft - its difficult because you are in the downwash of the main rotor - but once you can move and return it at will you have picked up some understanding of the cyclic control required.

If You try to lift of and fly without mastering the basics of cyclic control you WILL crash.

However saying that once you have learnt cyclic control you will crash - just you will take longer getting around to it we all do

Hope this helps......David
