Hi there,
Welcome to the forum
I took a look at the machine your considering, it seems ok but I would try if at all possible to get something that doesnt have an independant motor driven tail (shaft or belt is much better) you might want to spend a few dollars more and get something known like a Honey Bee King 2 or maybe even a Blade 400 3D which seems to be fantastic value at the moment.

One thing Id recommed you get is a decent simulator (such as realfight or reflex) because It will save you money in the long term. Model helis are amazing squrily things to learn to fly and although Im sure you'll learn it fast through your car experience, they can be incredibly unforgiving machines and if you make a mistake with a heli they dont self correct and you wont get much time to put it right.
Good luck, Im sure you'll be as addicted as the rest of us shortly ... Azzy
