Re: fatal heli injury?

In the past I've had a couple of instances where my heli has started without me even touching the controls. 0 to 2000 rpm in 2 seconds, and no control! (and I still don't know what caused it.) All I could do was run away ( Thankfully I was there alone, and let the heli crash itself).
These things ARE dangerous, and should be treated as such. As the box says.. 'This is not a toy!', in the same way that a rip-saw, or nail gun is not a toy, and you wouldn't let a child or a drunk have a rip-saw or nail gun.
Fun and exciting, hell yes, dangerous, also yes, but a lot less so when care is taken. Be safe, do your preflight checks, fingers crossed, you should be Ok.
