| Elite 3D Pro, having trouble getting stable hover I bought a used Hummingbird Elite 3D Pro that seems to be in very good condition, perhaps unused until now. It has a GY401. I set up the radio exactly the same as my T-REX 450SE, in particular I wanted to get the gyro configuration the same. I find the T-REX easy to hover at an altitude of my choice, and easy to hold over a fixed spot. Not so with the Hummingbird. This little one seems to want to dart right and left to a much greater extent. My sense is that it is something out of adjustment and not a limitation of the helicopter. In particular I am concered about friction in the seasaw. On this heli, there is a LOT of binding friction between the plastic seasaw and the metal hub. It is very apparent when trying to move the flybar up and down and especially noticeable if on tries to rotate the mains about the pitch axis. I am used to the heads being more free of friction. On a quick call to Century Tech support, the nice gentleman said that this was not much of an issue mainly due to the high head speed of these small helicopters.
