Its not normal....take the grips apart and check the bearings are not coming loose!

Theres usually two nuts that hold the bearings in place....it pays to tighten them....even if they are locknuts its wise to use a bit of locktite on them....but dont use too much....I use the blue stuff...just a smear of it.

I have used other makes of stuff on helis.....when I flew a Hawk Sport I used Nexus tail rotor gear box on it when I broke the original.
