Hi Guys, I broke in the OS 50 Hyper yesterday.. I started with 3 turns open and the engine wouldn't run without glow attached. So I burned 2 tanks with the glow attached then leaned it to 2.5 turns. After that I started with 2 turns and hovered it. When I landed I saw this thick greenish cloud drifting from our yard to the neighbor's 3 houses down, the front yard is glissening with oil.
Man does that engine haul! I have the blades at 10 deg + and 10 deg -. At the flying site I hovered then went full throttle... it excellerated to about 50 feet then bogged! I thought for sure I would have to do an auto but it was fine. Richened it up 2 to 3 clicks and only the space shuttle excellerates faster!
I had an Evolution 52NX in it and for the life of me I couldn't get it to run. It ended with a blown rod. It is on warrantee and will soon be getting another.
