| Re: what is the normal tempature Im using a .91 TT engine, my mixture is really rich, it even take some time for the engine to rev up, (lots of smoke) after a 2 minutes hover I read on my temp gauge 114 celcius, the temp probe is installed just below the head of the piston. the muffler was really hot but the backplate was warm and touchable, this means that you have a bunch of different temps around.
I think temp gauges wont tell you much, it is a matter of test and error, you will know your engine with use, so I think you can spot some trouble after a while with the temp gauge.
