Re: Os32 Problem

Hi.

I went to our field and I discussed this with some guys who knows about it, yes, maybe the engine is not tuned right but it seems that the problem is that I do not have enough RPM for a given pitch, I hover at half stick but the guys there told me that I have low RPMs, my tach will arrive tomorrow in order to confirm this. anyway I increased RPM at 10% at half stick and improved a lot.

Also they spot a bad rule that I took from fixed wings, when you want to land on fixed wings is very easy to move the stick totally down and the plane will sail and start to descend, when you get the descend rate you will move the stick up again to compesate, but in Helis its better not to cut the throtlle at once, is more critical if you have a small engines as the 30, when you cut the throtle the engine RPM will decrease very fast but the blades will try to keep running at the same speed, as you realize that the machine is coming down pretty fast you will try to push hard on the stick trying to get some power to stop the descend, but things get worse here, you have a very weak engine with very low torque and you need to accelerate a very high pitch blades (remember you are pushing hard on the stick) that drag a lot, this is one of the explanation that I got.

I will try to post the video.
