Hey there,

Yes, if a 30 size got you in the right place it could be fatal. Its quite unlikely though and its possible that an spoonful of water can be fatal too. That said if the thing hits you its gonna hurt. There is a thread over on Runryder about the guy that got hit in the neck. I Doubt that a 60 / 90 size machine could decapitate anybody cos the blades are quite blunt on the leading edge and there is a lot to get through. You should ALWAYS treat them with respect (whatever size they are). Ive seen the video your talking about the guys hovering the raptor in the living room and I agree, one glitch and people are gonna get it, it was lunacy. The same thing applies with the video of someone propstanding a 60in span sport plane above a crowded swimming pool. Nuts, these people should know better.
