Re: help finding parts

There you go....my concept looks like it would be ok for nexus parts....my LHS has the remains of a Nexus which would provide parts aplenty....

I would change:

Rotor head....nexus head will take stock 12 mm blades (500mm)

Boom...this can be replaced with Nexus boom

pitch slider...doesnt need changing but the concept slider goes down as the pitch rods are connected to the trailing edge of the blade holders...the nexus system has its rods connected to the leading edge of the holders.

most parts are the same....but bear in mind that if you crash and break the mixing levers then you will struggle to get spares....best get freindly with a machine shop.

all in all theres no reason the concept cant fly, but I would definately 'mod' it so you can get parts....Century USA used to do crash kits for the Nexus...they might still do.

As mentioned before...it depends on your budget....and how curious and patient you are....it will give you greater fun if you like tinkering.

Let me know what you do...be interesting
