Raptor servo help

Hello Folks, I'm getting back into helis after a long time of looking at my little Kalt Whisper hanging in the shop.(Gee I wounder where He got his user name?) anywhy the little electric heli is probably older than most of you out there in this hobby today. Ive been building and flying airplanes for about 50 years and built helis back about 20 years ago when they first came out and did not fly well at all, I built the Whisper back then and hopped it off the ground alot but never really learned to fly it, so it got hung up in the barn but not forgot. Then a year ago I got a G3 Sim. and learned how to fly helis. and have been flying the batteries out of the Whisper. For an old bird it flies nice. Now to the piont I have built a Raptor 60 with an os 70 for engine and am trying to figure out what servos to put in it. I have been looking at hitech 625's for every thing but the tail, I am still a beginner and figure it will be a long time before I am good enough to do any close to 3d so I am not sure if a 625 is good enough for the tail or do I need a digital? I have been using a futaba 351 gyro on my Whisper and it works great even though it was made for airplanes. I am also thinking about using it on my raptor insted of a futaba 401.(only because I have it and Gyros are expensive) I am using it in the rate mode only because that feels more natural then heading hold. I keep changing all the helis in my G3 to rate because it feels easier to fly for me. Anyway I am open to all the help I can get. I live in the country with lots of open fields so I fly out of my back yard so I have no help around, Im on my own. Thanks
