| Re: Finding Help Am completely brand new on these as well, only thing first flight I have yet to crash, several close calls etc...perhaps lucky but taking things slow...
Only experience years ago w/sailplanes, but am very rusty...
My model is the E-Flight CX Dual Blades not the CP...
1. Purcahsed a Toy Award Winner 35.00 Helicopter, basicly hovering skills, is a 3 channel with very limited steering todate but gave me an idea of what to expect..only 2 days on the toy, is tuffer to fly than the CX on steering !! Toy Did provide hands on skills..
2. Simulators are certainly great but wanted hands on so reason for the toy intro...
3. Last Night Flights hovered few inches but wanted to topple over so launched to 4 to 8 foot levels, have controls near trim and now hovers..don't trim while flying !!
4. On the Controls still working on steering as well, take things step at a time,
work on one direction only, soon as it drifts land right away...Don't try to save it, LAND !!! CUT POWER !!
5. Tho mine is also indoor prefer outside flying with zero on first flights as more room...
Having fun so far, fingers crossed...
